Alfacam Group is a

ArcelorMittal Tailored
Blanks is a leading producer of tailored blanks with design and
production facilities in most parts of the world.
Tailored blanks are an essential tool in
automotive chassis, called body-in-white (BIW) construction. Tailor welded
blanks are products resulting from welding together various blanks (sheets of
flat steel) of different characteristics, either thicknesses, formability,
shapes … They are used to decrease the weight of a car and to improve safety
through an increased crash resistance. At the same time, it is proven that
tailored blanks reduce the total cost of a car structure.
In a typical BIW, around 20 tailored blanks
applications can been identified: rear rails, roof reinforcement, B-pillar,
A-pillar, shock tower, tailgate, cross member, side member, wheel house, engine
cradle cross member, body side, seat cross member, bumper reinforcement, front

EVA Screens is specialised
in the development and manufacturing of automatic coarse screens for cleaning
and removing all kinds of flotsam and debris from water intakes at power
stations, municipal water treatment facilities, rivers, harbours, docks, and
lakes.
The EVA heavy duty "Back Raked" screen is
able to take out of the waterways all solid material sized from 30x30 mm up to
1000x1000 mm, such as domestic waste, garbage bags, refuse, old furniture,
wood, drums, tyres, plastics, dead animals and all sorts of water borne weeds
such as hornwort, water-hyacinth, etc.
In brief, we deliver a self contained and
ready to use, automatic, self-cleaning coarse screen, with a lifting capacity
of 2100 kg/tine beam, which only has to be plugged into the power supply to
make the unit immediately operable. The complete installation takes no more
than 2 hours per screen, where the screen is simply lowered and positioned in
the recesses in the concrete-walls of the water intake structure. Dewatering of
the intake structure is not necessary to allow installation (or removal) to
proceed.
